Dr. Mirza Meets MP Isa Ali Al Qadi on Key Issues

Minister of Energy H.E. Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received in his office at NOGA H.E. Member of Parliament (MP) Isa Ali Al Qadi on July 6.

The Minister praised the MP Mr. Al Qadi, for his efforts with his fellow members of the Parliament in taking the country forward in various fields.

They discussed several topics of interest to the country and citizens. They addressed the importance of removing electric poles in residential areas and the work of ground wiring to provide adequate space for residents to use for car parking.

They also discussed ways to modify the existing infrastructure on the streets to facilitate smooth traffic flow by improving better coordination between the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Ministry of Municipalities and Urban Planning and Ministry of Works. This would ease congestion on the roads of the Kingdom, they agreed.

Dr. Mirza appreciated the relevance of all issues raised by the MP in the interest of the citizens of Bahrain.

Mr. Al Qadi expressed his gratitude to the Minister for his warm welcome and productive discussion, praising the responsiveness of EWA in providing temporary generators to houses that were facing interrupted power supply in his constituency. He also praised the great efforts by Dr. Mirza in his support to various associations for the advancement of Bahrain's social and cultural development. He wished all success to the plans, programmes and projects implemented by NOGA and EWA for the advancement of the energy sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
