The Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs serves as the essential link between the legislative and executive authorities. A primary objective of the Ministry is to strengthen cooperation between these two branches of Government while upholding the Constitutional principle of separation of powers and fostering mutual collaboration. The Ministry is tasked with coordinating and overseeing the efforts of the Executive Authority across its various ministries and official agencies to ensure compliance with Constitutional and legal obligations related to legislative and oversight affairs, as well as other matters presented to the Legislative Authority.
In continuation of the efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain, both locally and internationally, within the framework of its full commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 and their integration into the Government’s work programme, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs aims to achieve the objectives that fall within its role and responsibilities.
