Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) members of the Bahrain Society of Engineers in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan, the NOGA General Secretary and Mr. Ali Abdul Jabar Al Sawad, General Manager, Strategies and Planning.

During the meeting, Director of Conferences Mr. Jameel Khalaf Al-Alawi handed over the honour to the Minister. Mr. Kalaf said he was delighted to confer the honorary membership to H.E. Dr. Mirza in recognition of his great efforts and encouraging role in supporting international events, which has contributed in highlighting professionalism in the oil and gas sector. He said the local and international conferences and the many professional training courses held during such events have facilitated significant achievements and great successes at the national, regional and international level.

H.E. Dr. Mirza expressed his happiness to receive the honour. He praised the outstanding efforts of the President and BSE Governing Council members in achieving the strategic objectives of the society and in promoting knowledge sharing between engineers and technicians in the oil and gas sector, contributing to the growth of the national economy.
