H.E. Dr. Mirza Chairs Tatweer General Assembly Meeting
Manama 28th March 2012, H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza chaired the Shareholders General Assembly Meeting for Tatweer Petroleum Company which was held this morning in the company’s main office.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the shareholders; nogaholding, Mubadala and Occidental Petroleum companies.
The meeting’s agenda and the minutes of the last General Assembly meeting held in March 2011 were approved. HE Dr. Mirza presented the Report of the Chairman of the Board of Directors followed by review of the Audited Financial Statements of the Company . These were approved by the Assembly .
The General Assembly also approved the appointment of the External Auditors for 2012.
Before the end of the meeting H.E. The Minster thanked His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, The Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, The Crown Prince and Deputy Commander of the BDF for their wise leadership and their continued support to the oil and gas industry in Bahrain.
H.E. also thanked the management and the employees of Tatweer Petroleum for their dedication and continued efforts to redevelop the Bahrain Field and to increase oil and gas production.
