Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received in his National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) office the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the 7th Middle East Nondestructive Testing Conference & Exhibition Engineer Fathi Al Qadeeb accompanied by the President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) Engineer Masoud Al Hermi and members of the organizing committee. The meeting was attended by NOGA General Secretary Dr. Ahmed Al Sharyan and General Manager of Strategies and Planning Mr. Ali Abdul Jabar Al Sawad. The event held under the patronage of the Minister of Energy.

The Minister praised the Conference Chairman, Executive Committee and the accompanying delegation for their efforts to make the 7th edition a big success. He congratulated the BSE officials for choosing the Kingdom of Bahrain to host the series since its first edition in 2001 and also praised its distinct role in organizing superior quality conferences and specialized events.

Engineer Al Qadeeb gave the Minister a detailed presentation on the conference and exhibition preparations. The event is being organized in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Section (SAS) of the American Society for Nondestructive Testing under the patronage of the Minister of Energy from September 13 to 16, 2015, at the Gulf Hotel. The delegation members discussed with H.E. Dr. Mirza the speakers’ list of the conference as well as the organizational and logistical details. The Chairman pointed out that companies and institutions in Bahrain could further contribute by participating with technical papers and delegate numbers.

Engineer Al Qadeeb and the delegation expressed their gratitude to the Minister for the good reception and productive discussion on several regulatory matters concerning the conference and exhibition, praising his support.

Engineer Al Hermi also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister for his support for conferences and events organized by the BSE in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
