Minister Examines Renewable Energy Opportunities
Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza met in the office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) on July 19 H.E. Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mubarak Al Khalifa accompanied by Marc Lamsfuss, Board Member of Ralos Kharafi National and Khaled Tubaileh, General Manager of the company.
The Minister wished Shaikh Abdulrahman and the accompanying delegation currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain success.
They reviewed several topics related to energy with focus on solar energy projects. They discussed the scope of tapping solar energy, which had huge possibilities, especially in the GCC countries where it could easily be a reliable source of renewable energy.
The delegation briefed Dr. Mirza on the solar energy projects carried out by Kharafi and the possibility of cooperation and benefit from the expertise in this area in order to generate energy and promote solar energy in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Shaikh Abdulrahman and his delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Minister for his warm welcome and the fruitful discussion on topics related to energy and aspects of cooperation in this area. They praised the encouraging efforts of Dr. Mirza in the advancement of the energy sector in Bahrain.
