Minister Receives MEOS 2015 Organizing Chairman
His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance, Minister in Charge of Oil and Gas Affairs received in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) on May 26 Engineer Abdul Hameed Ahmed Rashid, Chief Engineer - Drilling at Saudi Aramco, Chairman of the organizing committee in 19th Middle East Oil & Gas Show (MEOS 2015). The event is being hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain from March 8 to 11, 2015.
The Minister praised the efforts of the Chairman and members of the organizing committee of the key event hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain every two years. He said the size of the show and its high standard made it an outstanding oil event the Middle East. He said that NOGA and its oil companies would work on creating all necessary arrangements for the success of the conference and the exhibition and ensure they achieved the desired goals. The Minister also praised the ongoing cooperation between the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Saudi Aramco, particularly in the area of organizing and participating in a series of conferences and exhibitions that are held periodically in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the great support provided by Saudi Aramco.
The Chairman of the MEOS 2015 Organizing Committee presented a summary report on the preparations and arrangements made for the success of the conference and exhibition. He expressed his appreciation for the government of the Bahrain and to H.E. Shaikh Ahmed for the facilities and support provided for such major oil events held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting was also attended by senior of NOGA and nogaholding officials.
