Minister of Energy His Excellency Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza met in his office at the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) on September 7 morning, in the presence of Mr. Hisham Zubari, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Tatweer Petroleum, ExxonMobil Vice President for Business Development Dr. John Ardill and Senior Manager and Vice President for Finance at the World Petroleum Council Dr. Pinar Yilmaz, currently on a visit to Bahrain.

Dr. Mirza expressed thanks to Dr. Ardill and Dr. Yilmaz for supporting the oil and gas sector in Bahrain and praised ExxonMobil, international oil and gas giant known for its advanced technology, innovation base and integrated refiners, renowned leading marketers of petroleum products, and chemical manufacturers. He wished the company further progress and success to achieve their goals and developmental strategy in the field of oil and gas. The ExxonMobil delegation gave a brief report on the programs, projects and plans implemented by the company to the Minister. Dr. Yilmaz extended an invitation to Dr. Mirza to participate in the ministerial session of the next World Petroleum Congress scheduled to be held in Istanbul in 2017.

The delegation expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to H.E. Dr. Mirza for his warm reception and for his support to oil and gas events held in and outside the Kingdom. They thanked him for the oil and gas sector issues discussed and promised support and fruitful cooperation.
