Minister Receives Russian Gas Representative
H.E. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance, Minister in Charge of Oil and Gas Affairs received on January 17 Mr. Victor Zubkov, Special Representative of the Russian President for Cooperation with the Gas Exporting Countries, and Chairman of Russian gas Gazprom, who was visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister welcomed the representative, praising the economic relations and fruitful cooperation between Bahrain and Russia in all fields, especially in the oil and gas sector.
During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation between Bahrain and Russia in order to promote economic development of both countries. They discussed several oil and gas sector issues.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Sharyan, General Secretary of the NOGA, His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding), and Adel Khalil Al Moayyed, Chairman of the Board and Acting Chief Executive of Bapco.
