Oil and Environment Minister Meets Cefas Chief Executive
Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met Neil Hornby, Chief Executive of the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas).
Dr. Bin Dainah emphasised the strength of the Bahrain-UK relations, noting both countries’ commitment to enhance cooperation in various fields, including protecting the marine environment.
The meeting discussed environmental monitoring, marine life, climate change science, marine food security, biodiversity, and pollution prevention.
Hornby commended the levels of cooperation between the two countries, praising the efforts of Bahrain in protecting the marine environment, aquatic life and biodiversity.
