Minister Opens Tatweer Petroleum Health Awareness Campaign
HE Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Energy, patronized the opening of the Health Awareness Campaign organized by the Tatweer Petroleum Company for its employees. His Excellency was accompanied by members of the executive management of the company.
His Excellency expressed his thanks to the management of the company for the attention it pays to the health and safety of their employees and the safety of contractors’ workers. The Chief Executive of Tatweer, thanked His Excellency the Minister of Energy for inaugurating this event and expressed the keenness of the management of Tatweer in increasing the awareness among their employees of the importance of physical health on their lives and the lives of their families.
The Health Awareness Campaign was organized to raise the alertness of the employees regarding cardiovascular risk factors (sedentary life, smoking, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc) and to promote habits that will improve the employees’ quality of life.
This campaign included many activities that addressed various aspects of health care such as nutrition and health, blood pressure and cholesterol, exercise and yoga, and proper health habits for workers and their families.
