The legal sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain has always received the utmost attention from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Great King of the Country, may God protect and preserve him, to develop it in a way that contributes to keeping pace with the requirements of sustainable development for the benefit of citizens. Furthermore, the continuous directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, have played a prominent role in developing the legislative framework and enhancing legal work in coordination with various government entities. This aims to improve the quality of legislative work in the Kingdom and continue the journey of achievements realized over two prosperous decades since the launch of the comprehensive development process of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In this regard, the Ministry of Legal Affairs continues its diligent work to develop the legal system to ensure justice and protection of rights, thereby enhancing the Kingdom's legal competitiveness regionally and globally, with the goal of consolidating its position as a leading country in legislation according to the best international practices in this field.
