Haya Al Kaabi Nominated for the Exceptional Youth Initiative
Haya Al Kaabi, an employee at the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, was nominated for the Exceptional Youth Initiative
In an interview with Al Ayam newspaper, Al Kaabi stated: “At the outset, I would like to express my gratitude for the attention and support we receive from the Kingdom’s wise leadership, may God preserve them, which motivates us to develop ourselves both professionally and personally. This, in turn, reflects positively on our beloved Kingdom. As a Bahraini young woman working in the field of law, I decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Law, and my work at the Ministry greatly supported me in this regard, particularly as the Ministry serves as a link between the Legislative Authority and the Executive Authority, which has contributed significantly to my professional development.”
Regarding her Master’s degree journey, she said: “The subject of my Master’s thesis addressed one of the oversight tools possessed by the Council of Representatives pursuant to the constitutional amendments of the Kingdom of Bahrain issued in 2012, namely the General Debate. I had the honour of being the first researcher to discuss this oversight instrument as the subject of a Master’s thesis, and I was awarded an Excellent grade in the thesis defence.”
As Bahraini youth are always distinguished by their ambition and diligence, Al Kaabi also highlighted the importance of volunteer work in shaping her personality, advising young people by saying: “Pay attention to volunteer work and participation in training courses, as they provide significant benefits in developing one’s personality both professionally and practically. Volunteering also contributes to building society and broadens young people’s horizons.”
On the occasion of Bahraini Youth Day and her nomination for the Exceptional Youth Initiative, she stated: “I was overwhelmed with feelings of joy and pride upon being selected by the officials, and this nomination is a great honour for me and a strong motivation to exert even greater efforts in my field of work.”
I congratulate myself first, and all young people as well, because we are fortunate to receive this support from our wise leadership, may God preserve them, which always seeks to empower Bahraini youth.”Haya Al Kaabi
