Minister of Parliamentary Affairs: His Majesty’s Royal Speech is a Roadmap for Constructive National Action
His Excellency Mr. Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, praised the Royal Speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and preserve him, delivered during the opening of the Third Ordinary Session of the Sixth Legislative Term of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council. His Excellency highlighted the contents of the Royal Speech as a guiding approach and roadmap for the legislative and executive authorities to work hand in hand toward achieving His Majesty’s enlightened visions and aspirations, which call for the continuation of the nation’s journey of construction, development, and progress across all fields and at all levels, locally, regionally, and internationally.
His Excellency also commended the praise and recognition expressed by His Majesty, may God support him, for the efforts of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, noting that this recognition serves as a motivating factor to exert further efforts in contributing to the completion of various governmental plans and programs that place the citizen and the nation at the core of all objectives.
The Minister further affirmed the government’s full commitment to continue coordinating with the legislative authority to achieve more successes and accomplishments within the framework of the comprehensive developmental march led by His Majesty the King, may God protect and preserve him. This includes advancing progress and development paths that benefit the nation and all its citizens. His Excellency emphasized that achieving prosperity for the present and future of the Kingdom of Bahrain requires intensified cooperation and coordination in drafting and developing legislation that embodies the values of unity and justice, thereby ensuring the sustainability of comprehensive development achievements to be passed down from generation to generation.
